ELDER EXHIBITION - GOING BACK TO SCHOOL
As an extension of the ELDER Exhibition - A Celebration of Seniors, year 7 students from Canterbury Boys High School invited seniors from the Canterbury City Community Centre for morning tea at their school.
With the exhibition currently hanging in their library the students felt it would be a great opportunity to meet some of the participants, interview them and create their own artworks inspired by these senior’s and members of their own families.
All artworks created by the student’s will be revealed and presented to the Mayor of the City of Canterbury, Brian Robson, on July 25 at a special morning tea before travelling with the ELDER Exhibition to the Margot Hardy Gallery – University of Western Sydney later this year.
