ELDER Exhibition - connecting with our youth.
The ELDER exhibition is now visiting at Canterbury Boys High School. With this showing a group of year 7 students have been asked to create artworks inspired by the exhibition. To further inspire the students ELDERS from the Canterbury Community Centre were invited into the school to meet the students.
Students served morning tea while interviewing the visitors, gaining insight into experiences and memories of these very special local ELDERS. The artworks created during this project will go on show at the Margot Hardy Gallery - University of Western Sydney in November with the current ELDER Exhibition.
A special thanks to the ELDERS for visiting the school, the boys for being attentive and respectful hosts.
